Anybody ever sync up Wizard of Oz and Dark Side of the Moon?ive seen it before, but it's been a few years. Total badass. I wonder how long it took the dude who discover it to figure it out. Cue the record, hit play on third MGM lion roar. Watching it now, just got to the part where the tornado sets the house down, Dorothy opens the door and BAM! everything goes from black and white to vivd technicolor and the cash register action from money commenses. I've never in my life partaken of any combustible vegetation save tobacco, but I imagine if I had this would have freaked me out. It was badass.
It doesn't sync up like a modern soundtrack, like when the Brady Bunch went up the stairs, they played the going up the stairs music, because it's all by chance... I'm a big fan of silent movies... With the movie audio down, the Pink Floyd soundtrack moves in the same way and syncs the same way as the better silent movies did... It reminds me a little bit of Cecille B. Demille's "Intolerance." Color doesn't detract from the silent movie experience... there were a few silent movies in color. Check out the original silent "Ben Hur." everytime Jesus shows up, the movie switches to color. Oh yes, 1925 Ben Hur also had frontal nudity, btw.
Actually maybe there is away to do this. What I you write a satanic message and record it. Than you play it backwards and come up with a normal lyric that sounds like that reversed recording. Would that work?
@K hungus: the human mind tries to find patterns in sounds and images and interpret them in familiar ways. When I listen to the track with the text I can see how someone might interpret the sounds that way. When I first listened, without the text I heard: frshneck de burskka braklayskwey snada fordsquok and similar. Perhaps its a satanic message in an alien dialect; but probably not. ---------- Lucky Lester
I think a true test would be to take a gospel group like the Kingsmen and play them backwards. If Backwards Satan can be found in the Kingsmen, Backwards Satan's conspiracy is more far reaching than thought. Or complete bollocks. One or the other. ---------- David Elk River Harmonicas

There seems to be a subgenre of YouTube videos where people explore this, whether it's just misheard lyrics or foreign languages. In fact, there seems to be a sub-subgenre of people making up English lyrics that fit over Bollywood clips. :)
