It sounds like you are peaking on your mic, particularly on the higher notes and it's making some of your runs sound a little chirpy. Trying to listen around that, it sounds like it probably got better tone in the room. Mic squeal aside, I really like the high runs you do.
For me, the best thing about your playing is your sense of swing. Real nice connection to that, with an easy flow and a clearly intuitive feel for it. If Duke Ellington was right, and it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing, then you're boppin' along in the right direction. I personally relate more naturally with a swingin' groove than with a hard rockin' thing myself, so I appreciate this aspect of what you've posted. Please keep up the good work. ---------- Matthew
