If you are an MBH forum member and you repair/customize harmonicas, AND if you would like me to consider listing you on a new page that I'm going to create with repair/customization as a theme, please do the following:

--email me directly to let me know of your interest: asgussow@aol.com

--in the subject line, please write the following: "new MBH page: harmonica repairs/customization"

--if we have had a personal/professional relationship, please remind me of that. (Dave from Elk River, Mike Pence, Joe Spiers, and Mike Fugazzi fall into this category--and you guys, if you'd like to be listed, should please remind me of our relationship.)

--please include your preferred method of contact with the general public: website, email, phone, mailing address. You may give me some or all of the above

--please give me a BRIEF description of the professional services you offer. What's your "thing"? Joe's, I know, is custom harps; Mike's is inexpensive repairs to MB harps. Please give me a one- to three-sentence summary of what YOU do.

--If you repair chromatic harps, please note that.

There's one more point, and I make it with trepidation: If you are a CUSTOMER of harp repair/customizers and you have personally had a bad professional experience with somebody--an experience that you, on reflection, think that I need to know about as I create this page, please email me with your complaint. I will read and consider what you write. I will NOT let one individual complaint lead me to not list somebody. But if I have a number of complaints from different people about one or more specific repair/customizers--about a clear failure to deliver the professional services that have been promised in a timely way--I will, at my discretion, either not list somebody or contact them to ask about the pattern of complaints. I reserve the option to do none, one, or both of these things. I'm a busy guy and will NOT be able to reply personally to these emails. But I will create the page, because I know that repair/customization service is something that players want and deserve.

NOTE: I will NOT pay attention to recommendations or complaints posted here, in this thread--i.e., "So-and-so should be on your page" or "I hope you don't list so-and-so." You're free to chat, of course, as long as what you write remains within the limits of the forum creed, but I won't follow up on anything posted here. I'm not chasing after repair/customizers. I will ONLY consider including repair/customizers who contact me as per the guidelines above. Thanks.

I have a pretty extensive list of unvetted customizers in my thread organizer threads for anyone who is less risk averse! It will be nice to see a list with a little more gravitas than 'I stumbled on this site and saw pretty harmonicas!'

Is this just for harp customizers or does it include mics, amps and pedal guys too?
