my guitar guy, who moved away last year, was in town this weekend, so we got to play for the first time in a year or so. and, sort of accidentally, i got this really cool video i wanted to share. i'd been recording him playing solo, and forgot to reframe the video recorder, so i'm not in the picture. and he had just closed the curtains behind him on a sunny day, so the backlighting caused him to be deeply in shadow. the overall effect is dark, moody, and mysterious. i love the look. the tune isn't bad, either, thought there are a few warts.

view it fullscreen for best effect.

That's sweet my man. You're right. It's moody and soulful and ......
tasty. Thanks.

Nice melody, I find.
And yes, the one-against-the-light produces special effect, like "I'm a poor lonesome cowboy" without sunset in the background, and without horse.
I however prefer the other, with you both on the vid.

thanks for the comments. cowboy feel? i didn't go there myself. this song has a lot of personal meaning to me, around a death in the family. so i see it as more dark and brooding, which fits my mood.

The guitar being so quiet but being the focus point of the video makes the harmonica even more ethereal.
