yes! incredible typo!
a friend of mine called to say he was reading about guitarist dave spector in the entertainment section and apparently there will be some 'Howard Wolf' tunes being performed at an upcoming dave spector concert.
do you laugh or shudder? should the chief copy editor be
hanged or merely fired? oh well....

no, my friend interviewed and has wonderful photos he took of Howlin' Wolf.
his mothers publishing company has charles mingus and phillip roth on her roster. he also writes jazz liner notes for blue note re-releases, so he knows a bit about who gets the axe in situations like the above.
yeah, banished from all future superbowl parties. eating chips all alone and mortified at every future game.
