Hey guys,
I'm going to Beijing and have to put n a show for the students that are hosting us.

I want to know, what should I play for them? I won't have a band, I think I have a pianist in my group, but probably no accompanyment. Any suggestions?

The only things I remember watching with Asian harmonica was either big orchestra harmonica or Japanese. I don't know how open Japan and China are. Japan has some wonderful players. I understand it's much more common to play stacked harmonicas, for instance C/C# to play chromatically, and tremolo harps are much more common, although this is all third or fourth hand information, although a few days ago Brendan Power had a video of someone demonstrating it. It seems the shape of the top of the tremolos is less flared, and that may help swap harps quickly.

I'd play at least a couple 'super' standards that they'd probably know. If you could email them before hand you could ask them what experience they have with harmonica music.
