Yep, long time ago though - early 96 I think. Magic Dick's Bluestime, James Harman, Taj Mahal etc etc. Most people on board seemed to be some sort of musician so it seemed to be all night jams every night. totally recommended
Went in 2010- expensive, but loads of fun. Some folks go twice a year- they have a Jan. and Oct. cruise. It was definatly a bucket list thing for me- might do it again one day. Music pretty much from 10am till 4am every day (nite?), as much as you want- 4 or 5 stages going on at once. Pro jams, Pro/Am jams (you can sign up to play) spontanious jams in the hallways. Have lunch or a drink with most any of the musicians. Pretty cool. ---------- Bluesharp- If you don't blow you suck...
Never been yet. Several of my friends and acquaintances have like Deak Harp, Frostbite Elliot and Rene Carlson. Hopefully one day I'll manage it. But just like people aspiring to be on Broadway often resort to Branson instead, until I can go on the cruise, there's always Bean Blossom. ---------- Hawkeye Kane

My girlfriend Linda and I went last October, and we are going again in October, 2012, in the Caribbean. It's awesome. Pro-am jams as well as pro jams on the back of the boat. Major harp players on this cruise will be Magic Dick, Bobby Rush, James Harmon. The Nighthawks as well. Last fall had Billy Branch, Charlie Musselwhite and Curtis Salgado.
Just got back from jan cruise. Wish I could go twice a year. Wonderful islands music 24-7. No way to hear it all. Met Lee Isled Rick E strin Rod Piazza Lee Nick Moss Super Chicken Coco Montoya Kenny Neal Kenny Wayne Shepard etc. Go by all means.
