Point well taken, was a bit loud and out there! I play by ear and not as advanced as some of you cats knowing different positions beyond second! I really enjoy all the post, some good info exchanged here, something for everyone to learn.
I've seen summa yer clips starting a year or two back Steve. I can see that your finding "your" tone insteada sumbody else's. It sounds pretty darn good, other than the volume (as noted). I'm curious: have you experimented with working a vibrato into your tone?

Very nice. What I want to know though, is when the video ends, I see a 4 other possible videos to watch... one starts with a harp and a mic, the other is someone playing harmonica, the 3rd is the blues brothers, the last one though, is a couple half-dressed guys playing guitars... what keywords exactly did you put in for your YouTube that got you semi-undressed guitar players as a 'you might also like'?
LittleBubba=Yes, I have been working on the vibrato a lot, but use it in songs that I feel call for it. I am like everyone else, it is a work in progress and by practicing everyday things will come about that were hard at one time (but gets easier as you put them to use.)
nacoran=I only put "Harmonica" as my KEYWORD in all my videos, that is something that YOUTUBE does but is kinda weird tho.
FMWoodeye=Yes, I am using one "Pignose" 7-100 in that video with a Shaker Dynamic harmonica mic. In my duo gigs with a guitar player I will have 2 of them with an A/B/Y Morely switcher and I am good to go.
I am in the process of building a rig where I have (4) of them, two on the bottom and two on top in a wooden frame work. I have a custom four amp switcher and everything is self contained. I have the mic cord coming out one side held in place with a velcro strap and at the bottom is a six way plug with all the wall warts plugged in so all I have to do with a band is plug in the cord, unstrap my mic and I am rocking. I call it "Steve's Pig Pen". Four all at once is so Hoggin' Pretty!
