I accidentally trashed one of my prized customized harps with a slip of a screwdriver. I thought the harp was trash. I posted a quick lamnent here on MBH about my mangled reeds. Someone recommended Mark Prados. A e-mail to Mark and a speedy reply, off I shipped my harp to Mark. He went above and beyond the call of duty and fixed my harp right up - and then some.

So kudos to Mark for a friendly, expert, affordable repair.

...talk about "above and beyond".
...short story here.
Occasionally, I'll promote a multi band blues show at local watering holes here in paradise.
We had a great two blues band show last night. My band was up first, then MArks. Lucky he came a little early.
Mark saved my signature Born In Chicago classic. It was about to head south real fast. My 4 draw went flat while wailing away. And, after whispering in the guitar players ear, "take another solo, and go 2 x's around". Apparently, it was enough time for Mark to hand me his D harp, and finish the song.
And the song was saved. Thankyou MP. And the crowd roared...
Granted, he can't be THAT fast for you, but I can vouch for the 'above and beyond' part.
We don't have to go in to the reason I didn't have a back up. Murphy's Law...and we all know how quickly that kicks in. I totally spaced my front line harps. And ended up using my back up bevy instead.
btw. He's still going the extra mile. He's helping me out this morning and replacing the 4 draw reed all together.
Very cool, MAN!
