What a wonderful NEW instrument !!!

Today the 19th this is the introduction of a brand new model of harmonica: THE OLIVE C20

Very pretty and a terrific sound. The cover plates are in a shinny GREEN metal, the comb is a composite material, and the reeds are the same as the Fabulous/ Manji, the best reeds in the world.

If you think the Manji is a bit too bright, or if your need a closed harmonica (like the Fabulous or the Fire Breath) this is the right instrument for you.

I personally had fun to play this new instrument

I can't see the video here at work but you've piqued my interest! Why can't I find anything about it on the web though? Maybe because it's still the 18th here in the States?

Looks very promaster-ish. So they took the manji reed plates and put on promaster covers on a harpmaster comb? or is the comb all new?

hmm. What is the price range for this one?

I like that sound.

How is the acoustic volume on it?

Have to find somewhere around here I can order them.

@ shadoe42

1) The comb is NOT at all the one of a Harpmaster, this is a composite comb, like the one you can find in the manji (composite comb). To me it feels like a Fire Breath on steroids, or a bit more "darker" Manji

2) I don't have the price range yet.

3) I don't know what mean "the acoustic volume" this notion is very subjective....Let's say that if your technique is good enough, you'll be very happy with this one

4) Just like any new model, it'll be available gradually everywhere, I think Rockin Ron will be on it soon

Thanks. acoustic volume IS subjective i agree, but when you often play unamp'ed outside all the technique in the world can only make the sound go so far :)

Wow! Excellent playing there CL. Be interesting to see how the tuning varies from the Manji, if it does. Were you playing a G or C harp?

Looks like Suzuki are upping the game again. Hohner better watch out.

Fantastic Christelle.

I'm all GREEN with envy! I love Suzuki harps & to me the covers look very much like the Promaster.

Besides the comb and the color, how does it compare to the Hammond?

Great playin' there ! And it's good to see you smiling and in good mood, I'm sure it makes your playing better.

I'll surely buy one of these new harps someday, it looks and sounds cool ! I prefer closed harps, and, yes, I thought the Manji was a little too bright, so...

Sounds good, a lot like Golden Melody to my ears. Great playing, one of my favourite versions of this song now!

Love the harp and the playing. I was hoping for a different cover plate design this time though.

Now, if they will make these with the bluish/gray covers that would be sweet! They do this for one of their chromatics and it looks awesome.

Love ya Christelle!
