Mule Variations is an ingenious, sly piece of work with massive wit. Like any other great songwriter you can tell that Tom Waits has been watching.

Yeah, in my 2 man acoustic act(Harp & Guitar) we do "Chocolate Jesus" and get a great responce from the crowd. I play a chromatic in 3rd position which gives it a real erie quality to the song. We also do "Walking Spanish" that has a really nice groove.
