It's possible, although not confirmed, we are having issues in Australia with forum access. Could anyone on the flip side make a quick post here if they can get through. (I'm wondering if maybe we've run afoul of IP level filtering or something, with all our filthy harmonica talk.) If someone from Australia can post then that's not the problem and I can move on to a new tinfoil hat theory.

Yeah, that got through. It must be something else. They have IP level filtering down there and it was a long shot, but I wondered if all our talk of bl***** and su***** and be***** and to*** and pur**** and sticking things in the 1 **** and sticking things in the 2 **** had run afoul of their filters.

Thanks Nate, I am obviously back now, however I am writing this from work rather than home.

I haven't been able to access MBH or macwebsitebuilder (the server would not respond and just time-out) for the last few days despite having no problems with any other site on the net.

I also live in Queensland so if Aussiesucker has not had a prob, I'm not sure what is going on.

I like Kate. She'll make a nice Queen.

She's got a lot in common with Osama Bin Laden.

Last year, some bloke from the military bust her back door in and gave her a shot in the face......

(expecting a reprimand or ban for this post, but it was worth it.... heh)

Sorry. It must be my bad. I've been trying to upload video from Adam's Seattle gig and it's taking so long it must be gumming up the whole internet. Again, apologies.

Hi MBHers

I haven't had any issues with accessing the site from Sydney but I took the liberty of running a Traceroute from my Computer:

Tracing route to www.modernbluesharmonica.com [69.90.45.118]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 1 ms 2 ms 2 ms vl80.iss-castle-distsw1.ii.net [10.59.83.253]

Trace complete.

It does not appear to be an issue in Oz with the traceroute - It appears to time out once it reaches Seatlle servers.

I would say that Adam may need to speak to his Domain Host for support on this issue.

Oz Users, You may want to run Traceroutes from your end and post them on this thread to help with escalating the matter.

Cheers.

Me too BronzeWailer, you and I had exactly the same problem. I will give traceroute a go as Ray suggests when I get hone this arvo.

Just out of interest are you with Bigpond?

Hi Blocker. I am with primus, using ADSL2 over the copper network. So I guess it may be BigPond infrastructure.

Whew! When I couldn't log on, I thought it was something I said...

Hi< I have not experienced any problems. I use the copper network + TPG as my ISP.

I travel away a lot and use a BigPond wireless modem on a laptop & often have problems regardless of sites. Some days/times are good but at times no good at all. No problem with location or time as it is random.

As I said previously I use Google Chrome & when I do experience a problem I switch to Explorer & it seems to work ok.

I had problems for a few days ( i'm with Optus ) but all good now.....
I like trees but they're a bit hard to hug when they get big, and I reckon the Republic would be a good idea but it would need a really big THINK first!!!

It looks like everyone is back now. I got this from support. If there is ever a situation where you can't access the site for more than a couple hours and you've tried the normal troubleshooting, feel free to contact me on Facebook and let me know so I can pass it along to support or email us at:
