Thanks everyone. its made out of leather. hand painted and hand carved. i wanted to make a lighter mic. those green bulets are heavy and are always giving me a lot of feedback. this one is way lighter and feedback isnt much of a problem anymore. i didnt include a volume nob because i dont like them. my hands are always rubbing them so my volume changes when i play. i also never really used them when i had one. i thought the design was cool so i went with it. ill record a video as soon as posible so you can hear how it sound.
Leather? Whoa...I think you just caused a rift in space-time continuum by introducing LEATHER as a mic shell material. I certainly have never heard of that before. How did you do it?
p.s.-Rob Halford just called and wants his codpiece back.
Seriously, that's very cool, and I want to hear how it sounds as well as how you got the leather to suit the need. ---------- Todd L. Greene
What kind of leather would allow you to form that kind of shape? I mean, when you say hand carved, did you carve a wooden body and then encase that in a leather shell? ---------- Hawkeye Kane
How i made it is a process id like to keep secret for now. but its a very long process which im still improving and there's no wood or metal involved. just leather.
Ps. No cod pieces were harmed in the making of this video.

I think I have a pretty good idea as to what the process entails. Won't say it here in respect for your wishes. But wow, if it's what I think it is, then major, major, kudos and coolpoints for you my friend! ---------- Hawkeye Kane
