Can anyone recommend a harmonica customizer who works on the Seydel 1847s. Preferably someone with whom you have personal experience. I'm looking for basic blues setups. I find these great out of the box but it seems like, as with guitars, even a great one could benefit from a good pro set up.

Joe, Dave, an John Harl are all great picks. I've done quite a few overblow setups for pro players too. I have an excellnt deal on a low F 1847 Noble that can be set up for your needs and shipped within a week.

I would like to throw in Jim. Have a Seydel 1847 from him and must say that it plays absolutely great.

Thanks all. I've decided to go with Greg Jones at 1623 Harmonicas. He's just down the road in San Antonio and appears to be the most familiar with Seydel.
