I picked up the harp back in late December. I was basically obsessed with it. There just weren't enough hours in the day to practice. I was determined to learn to play. About three months ago my marriage fell through. As so many do these days. Despite being an avid blues enthusiast I just couldn't pick it up and even listen to any blues. It took me three months to re-ground myself and figure out which direction I was going. The divorce is still challenging but I'm just glad I picked up the harp tonight. It was like finding a missing piece of myself.
Anyways, It's been good to catch up on the forum and blow the dust off the harps.....

I've been lucky this go round. My first wife was never supportive of any of my dreams of aspirations, so it was definitely a factor in cause of divorce. Right after the divorce was when I picked harp back up after 7 years. My wife now is an achor in my harp endeavors, even though I know she gets sick of it from time to time. But one thing I found out during my divorce proceedings...it's a hell of a good time to learn to blow the blues. ----------
