If someone is intending to sell something and your interested in buying it and there isn't an E-MAIL address to inform this person of your desire, that can make doing business rather futile dontchathink?

True dat. That's why everyone should either set up their signature or their profile(what you see when you pick on a forum member's hyperlinked handle. Well, that at least would help when dealing with forum members. ---------- Todd L. Greene

Frank, you assume that logic prevails...
Perhaps they do not wish to sell to a non-psychic.

The process consists of -- going to your account, then to profile information, then checking the box that will let others contact you.

Frank, you're right, but some people worry about spam. Usually if you post a question after the item for sale they'll give you contact information. I actually recommend putting your email in your profile in a non-standard way, so that bots have a harder time skimming it. Something like 'I use Lemonflavoredmushrooms dot com to send my emails and my handle is the same as it is in my signature' should throw them off the scent.
But you are totally right. You should put your contact info up, in some form, if you want to sell something.

Does anyone know the odds of someome getting spammed for letting others view their email address on this site?
Has anyone gotten spammed from here -and if so, what exactly was the spam?
