He,s been selling mics for years now,approx.15 as well as modding mics that are sent to him.He did a 70,s bullet mic for me with a mexican element around 9 or 10 yrs.I had requested a different element if he thought that the element was inferior and he told me that the element sounded great.Dave Kott actually states on his sight that the Mex. elements at that time had the same quality sound as the US made ones.He removed the original cord, put on a screw connector/volume control and I will say that its my # 1 mic,BadAss to say the least. His mics are pricey,(whos aren,t)but if they sound like my bullet, they,re worth the coin.

My top 2 mic's are both from Dennis-a 1950's all grey astatic with a 101 crystal, and an all black JT-30 with a killer strong CR element. No volume control on either mic.
Yeah some very nice mics that Dennis is selling there. My JT30 with CM 99A86 element is still for sale. Easily as good as any of those "Grade A" mics that Dennis has listed and over $100USD cheaper too :-). It's in the "For Sale 2011" thread.
I've got a few friends, sitting on these in their basements etc. - I'd love to just get one on loan for a while. Meanwhile I'm digging playing with the GA-6 I have on long term loan, and the two little BR-9s I got for two bills each at different times - those are still bargains- don't tell anyone. ----------
He's been selling and sometimes modifying mics off and on for several years. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte
