Okay, I don't claim to be the next Jason Ricci, but we played an open mic tonight and got some recordings that came out fairly clearly so I thought I'd post them. They aren't 12 Bar, and they're not perfect, but we had fun. They were all on Lee Oskars, the first one was on an Fm Natural and the other two were on a C, straight into the PA. I'm not sure what the sound guy did after that. I might have posted a different version of the first one before, not sure. I recorded it on my Canon Powershot camera (not video, just audio).

Nice! Your harp playing sometimes dissapers in this audio but I like the way you supports the vocalist. Bet it sounded real nice live.

Lmbrjak, sorry, sometimes different browsers require different html to display right. I thought I'd copied the way that worked for all of them. Here are the links without the fancy embed.

Pistolcat, thanks! It was a lot of fun. Pauly's Hotel, the bar hosting the open mic, is an interesting place. Like a lot of bars it's long and narrow, but it's old enough so it's got tin ceilings almost the whole length. I don't envy the sound guy! He doesn't have monitors yet so while he could adjust stuff from the board we mostly just heard the stage noise, and on stage I sounded loud, so I moved off the mic a little a couple times. Of course, he may have been turning me down at the same time. I was pretty happy with it though. They are all fun songs to play on. Thanks for listening. Maybe after the next one I'll be able to post some of my singing too... or maybe I shouldn't press my luck! :)
edit:
Or here, with some semi-fancy links... (let's see if this works.) hmm, nope...
