I've been seeing a lot of posts lately regarding Fender reverb amps. Which sparks a memory for me... I've only ever blown through two Fender amps: an Acoustasonic and a Yale Reverb. The Acoustasonic has its uses though they're few.
The Yale belongs to my band leader and I played it at a couple gigs to satisfy his curiosity. 1 channel, 1x12 Jensen speaker, 75 watt solid state with three volumes (volume, gain, and master). From what I've read, they were a Rivera-era lower end model in the early 80's. I played my JT30RH though it. While the reverb was nice, I found it feeding back a lot and I could only get distortion on it by jacking up the gain control...which of course sent the feedback through the roof.
Has anybody else ever tried this model before with any better luck? Band leader's still convinced for some reason that it'd make a good harp amp... ----------
