I'm putting together an acoustic set list and would love some suggestions. I had my first acoustic gig since the late 1980's last Sunday. It was just myself on harp and the guitar player from my band for two sets, his son joined us on guitar for the last set. We pulled it off, despite only having two hours practice time. We just took our regular band tunes and converted them. I think we could have used more material that would appeal to an audience made up of mostly 40 to 70 year old folks. The tunes I'm looking for should be harp friendly and well known, they don't have to be traditional blues tunes.
A lot of Tom Petty's tunes can be done acoustically and are generally well received. Mary Jane's Last Dance, You Don't Know How It Feels, and Learning to Fly just to name a few. ---------- Hawkeye Kane
