Had a big river with the 5-draw go flat on me. Tried getting the plate out and filing it down to try and bring it back into tune. No dice. Has anyone ever been able to get MS reeds back to tune when theyre going bad?

I agree...it sounds like it is gone beyond the point of being able to retune.
