Was messin' around with scales on my commute home when they were talkin' on sports radio about versions of Star Spangled Banner. Tried starting on the draw 4 and ended up having a blast messin with the necessary bends and overblows. OH, OH, SAY = 4 draw, 3 draw, 2 draw on a Charp. DBG? Being the neophyte that I am, I'm wonderin' if anyone can tell me what position would I have been playin' in.

That would put you in the key of G, so second.

Hmm, I never thought about it, but I seem to play it in first position.

I play in it first too, if I want it higher pitched like say, starting on the 4 draw, I just grab a harp in a higher key, and play it in first. No sense in the difficult OB's and stuff when you can K.I.S.S.
