When I upgraded from an older version of Audacity I suddenly started having problems syncing different tracks. It seems there was a setting that used to guess how much lag there was in your system. In the newer version there was a more complicated procedure where you had to play some sounds through your speakers with your microphone running. It then calculated the lag. Is it possible Movie Maker has some similar feature?
