I've had a few of Joes full blown customs for a while now and they are simply stellar harmonicas. I am a blues player and play with a bit of attack. They never stick, great tone, volume and extremely playable. They "feel" like they are alive in your hands with a guitar like sustain. Stellar!

Same experience here, and mine are set-up for overblows as well. There's also a certain smoothness with Joe's harps that I can't find anywhere else.

Todd, I haven't been on the site long and don't hsve a youtube account to comment there. I wanted to pass along how much i enjoyed your "jamming in B video" (not sure if that was the title) on youtube! What a great blend of traditional and modern, technical and soulful. very, very few people play at your technical level and keep it tasteful and within the song. You have something to say and i am listening! Great stuff.

Their awesome, an A, stage4, its like the OB require no effort. Overdrawing is more simple then bending a note on a normal harmonica. A D is on its way, cant wait, Joe's the man...........

@Shoulders - I've sent my Stage 3's back a couple of times for the latest updates, so I would say, yes.

@Jeffrey van Kippersl - They really are the best harps for overdraws, aren't they? I love Joes' work and will be putting up a new video about his harps soon.

@Little Village - Thanks so much for the kind words. I owe a lot of it to the late Terry McMillan, who influenced me probably more than anyone.

@ Todd Parrott, They are playing so lightly, theres just no pressure required. Its almost difficult to control the basterd :-), every now and then it actually takes me for a spin!

And the sound.........

Very nice site. Very nice choice of pages to get the message across and stimulate interest.

I notice a few small details that maybe you are not aware of (maybe you are but I'll mention them anyway...):

1- The photo on the front page is a link and when I click it, I see a weird page; I checked this in two different web browsers and it is the same.

2 - The "login" link at the bottom of the page probably should not be there. You should be the only one to log in and not need every user to see that web address.

3- Home, Service, Contact, For Sale, Harmonica Customization. That doesn't follow any logical progression - It may be exactly what you want but from the perspective of someone who doesn't know what you are about, the order seems random. It doesn't lead the customer in any particular direction.

Again, very nice site. You always use nice high quality photos and you use them well here. I can see that you will be using photos in your upcoming tech articles. That will keep the traffic coming!

I was out visiting my father in California a few years back. At the time he was designing a website at a university. They needed people to go through and find every little picky mistake they could. His boss offered me either $12 an hour or $5 a bug. Being risk averse I chose the flat $12 an hour and made myself $60. I should have taken the $5 a bug. In 5 hours I found 60 little errors, everything from frames that didn't quite line up to links that didn't always work.

I can't fix anything, but I am a master at breaking things. :)
