I'd just fashion a make shift hand crank and a megaphone and start playing my records! (I seem to remember doing a science experiment when I was a kid where I made a megaphone out of paper and put a needle at the end. All you had to do was spin the record.
And if I'm on a deserted island that goldfish is going to fry up nice.
As for a girlfriend dumping me? It would never happen. I'm too beautiful!

Took, we get a pretty steady flow of new members. And then of course some days we get a bunch of spammers. Some days I sit there staring at the names, checking them against spam lists, looking to see if they have spammed other forums or made legitimate posts on other forums, or used a harmonica reference in their handle, or are from a server we get lots of spam from.
Spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam
And then of course the people who apply 5 times! (I might have been one of those, and see what letting me in did!) Who reads web directions? All the pointless EULA's have inured to the point where people just skip over everything.
