Well, here we go again folks. Blow Your Brains Out 3 kicks off from midnight tonight.
All Modern Blues Harmonica Dirty-South Blues Harp forum members are welcome and indeed encouraged to enter. If you've just been lurking and want to get in on the action, fire off an email to Adam to join the forum. The more, the merrier.
There are no rules and there is no prize except for the kudos of having your entry watched or listened to by some of the worlds keenest and probably most knowledgable harp fanatics in the world. Believe me when I say, if your entry gets a decent rating, then you are definately doing something rather special.
It's open to everyone. You may not be the worlds best harp player (and who is?) but your entry may be the most entertaining, and that's what really counts.
Click my signature for the BYBO3 website where you'll find all the information you will need and a countdown for when entries will no longer be accepted. Entries will be accepted until the end of October and the winners announced some time in November.
Look out for BYBO3 posts on the forum for any news.

I read about this a few days ago and uploaded a video I though I might submit. I note the kick off date is midnight 31st. My upload is dated 28th August ie will I scrape in or do I need to upload another?

Although there are no rules Aussiesucker, it does clearly state on the "How to take part" link, subsection "Submitting a Video or Soundfile" Paragraph 5 Section two, I will do two things. Firstly I will find your video. Secondly, I will ensure that the date it was uploaded to YouTube is dated after the Kick Off date. We don't want people to simply rehash old videos. We want fresh stuff that has been created specially for this.

Aussiesucker, don't sweat it, here's how you can hack your way in, without breaking the rules: delete the video from your youtube account, and if you still have it on your computer, reupload it. If you do not have it on your computer anymore, make sure you download it from youtube, before you delete it. You gonna end up with the same video but this time will have the right uploading date.

Aussie, don't worry. I've got a flux capacitor and my time machine is nearly finished. I'll go back in time and stop you from posting the video before the deadline. Just so I know, you don't have a bad reaction to knock out pills do you, or do anything important in the last few days? I better bring a bat. If you had to pick a kneecap which one would you say is your favorite...
Don't worry, we'll make sure you never posted that video before that deadline!

@Aussie. No hard feelings but then someone will say well I uploaded on 26th and you allowed a 28th and it will just go on.

OK Aussiesucker, sorry about that but we must have a sense of order otherwise this forum would be red hot with complaints :) I've got better things to do than spend time arguing on here.
However, I've added your new entry to the BYBO3 website and if anyone wants to see how this all works and how the entries are handled, click my signature.
OK Guys, the race is on, anyone can enter, let's see if we can get more entries than the previous challenge. You owe it to yourself to get your harp playing out into the world cyber community.

I've posted something ,but it's just a short solo impro on one my own backing tracks .If i find a another free backing track that suits more to what I want to play,can I post a second participation ?
