Buddy of mine just called me. His dad was at a flea market here in town last week and managed to snag a Turner Classic with a fin for 2 bucks. Element was burned out, but the guy who sold it claimed that the mic was used by Sam Cook at one point. I personally don't believe the bit about Cook, but jeeze...a Turner for 2 bucks...

Yup. I know a fella that picked up a 1950s NOS 520 for fifty cents at an estate auction in farm land.

Hey, I was given a vintage fender super reverb! Needs a litlle work, but they don't call me 'Lucky' for nothin.

A few weeks back I picked up 5 vintage Shures and 2 AKG's for 30 quid (about 45 bucks)!
All working and sweet as a nut.
Eventually sold the lot to a total of over 600 quid (about 750 bucks).
God, I love junk sales!
