I think that's off 'Little Walter and Otis Rush "Live in Chicago"' which was supposedly recorded at the Chicago Blues Festival in 1967.

There's a slower take also credited to LW on the album "Down Blues Street - Pop Hits Vol. 1".

Pretty sweet. Though I prefer listening to Satan & Adam do it.

Thanks! Never heard that LW cut. It's interesting that he chose to play the whole head on the low end of the harp whereas Adam goes to the middle octave to play part of it. It gives it a much bluesier feel, but the intonation isn't quite right. It still sounds good, just different.

This sounds pretty horrible - out of tune in several places and wheezing forward with an asthmatic rhythm. Could the recording quality mess up the tuning (the bass in particular sounds off)?

at this point, quite near the end of his life, walter was recorded doing some material best never recorded in the first place. this is one of them, but there are others. unfortunately there was no leonard chess or somebody, anybody in quality control.
