How Music Works, a four-part British TV series, is entirely available on YouTube (for now at least). Part One, Melody, starts here:



The other parts are Rhythm, Harmony and Bass.

Thanks for posting that. I remember it being on, but never saw it. Melody - Part 3 has a brief but perfectly clear explanation of how the blue 3rd came about.

I'm not sure, but I think that there are different uploads of the same video from different YT users. timegrinder appears to have his/her uploads intact, at least the ones I've checked so far.
