I just received a Kalamazoo 1 Amp from Greg at Blowsmeaway.com, and I just want to say that it is well worth the money invested. It is better than he described in looks and sound. I have no affiliation with Blowsmeaway.com -- just very satisfied and want to pass the word along. --99

I have a Kalamazoo 2 and custom wood bullet both from Greg. I had him install the line out option on the amp. The tone/volume is with this rig is outstanding.

Hang in there Big Daddy...you will get there.

A couple of weeks ago, I spotted a Kalamazoo 2 that looked to be in outstanding condition on craigslist. It sold before I got back from vacation....I was bummed!

I found one for under $30. Doesn't work but at that price even with Gregs rebuild fee and shipping both ways I am ahead of the game. Waiting to see if it pans out.

I own 2 Model 1 Kalamazoos. IMHO, far and away the best value for money small harp amp in the world.

One of mine is a mint genuine closet find with original clear vinyl cover. The other was recovered in a black lizard skin Tolex with a new leather handle by the guy I bought it from. I had a speaker side line out installed, secured the faceplate so it doesn't flex, and swapped the original speaker for a Weber 10A100-O. They both have been retubed with NOS RCA tubes.

The modded one I take on small gigs and jams. The Weber is not quite as nasty as the original CTS but it's louder. There's one band that hires me from time to time where the guitar player has actually asked me to turn down. The hilarious thing is he uses a Fender Twin!

A couple of times I've taken both to gigs and linked them together just for the hell of it. Not that much difference tonally but it sure gets noticed.
