Epiphany!! Yeah. Sometimes when something is presented to you, you understand it, but you do not realize that you only understand it superficially...until something about it clicks later.
That's the way this video was to me. What clicked in my mind is so very obvious that I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't see it before. It's this:
Don't just READ theory...LISTEN TO SAMPLES as you read it!!- - - - - - (Then play your own samples, of course.)
..........(Maybe others will come away from it with something else.
Maybe this is the simple "secret" I mentioned missing in the Music Theory thread..)..........Well, no...That's just a small part of it.
