So far anyway.
I was bored and looking at Ebay last night for some old Marine Bands at about 1 am and happened to see this 64 Chromonica. Not brand new but in really nice condition. I am thinking the seller used Marine Band in his key words to attract attention to it because those are all I was looking for.
I first noticed it had 4 hours to go then I saw the opening bid price of a mere $5. Then I noticed that for some reason there were NO bidders! I placed the opening $5 bid thinking there is no way there is not going to be another harp player outbidding me knowing how much they sell for. I was up for another couple of hours before I got too tired to keep my eyes open but before I left I checked Ebay and I was still the only bidder. I woke up this morning and checked and lo and behold I won this beauty for a mere $5 plus a few bucks for shipping.
I can't wait to hold her and see how she sounds. Even if it needs some work I still got a steal.
The seller evidently buys storage units and this was in one of them. Not sure if it comes with the nice box but that's ok. If it does it's just icing on the cake.
