I'm inviting list members to go back and update their Account Member Info.
Why?
Sometimes I want to learn more about the person posting, or contact them off list with a question.
That one feature wasn't working a few weeks ago when I joined, but Adam and his moderators have solved it.
If you never want to be contacted off list, then you have an effective filter in place.

I have a profile, but if anyone learns too much about me I'll have to go back into the program. No, not that program. You're probably thinking Witness Protection... no, not that. No, the program... that dark place where they deprogram you. 'I am not an internet celebrity... I am not an internet celebrity... I am not an internet celebrity...
I tried to ask them that if I wasn't an internet celebrity then why did people on the internet keep contacting me? Why was it worth flying top deprogrammers in from around the world at a cost of millions of dollars to deprogram me? If it was a delusion, what did it matter? Millions of dollars to deprogram me! With that kind of money they could have just hired some promoters and made me into a internet celebrity.
And now they say I'm having delusions that people are trying to deprogram me. People are not trying to deprogram me... People are not trying to deprogram me... people are not trying to deprogram me... of course, that's exactly the sort of thing someone deprogramming or reprogramming me would want me to repeat. Isn't it?

Ray, I'm a moderator/admin here, and I can't even do that for you. You'd have to re-submit with that name.

Hi,Todd. I tried later that night and never got any confirmation email or anything. Now when I try to do it again it says the name is in use. Even though I am the one who selected it....

This is a great idea.........where are you from, and things like that. No big deal, just interesting. I don't intend to go anywhere to do anyone any harm and am sure no one on this forum does either.
Just a bit more intresting info from those we already regard as friends.
On the MandolinCafe we have converted our user names to our real names. Most of us have anyway. I was gregjones and when the change to real names came I just didn't see the need to change to Greg Jones!!!

Ray, you should be able to do it now. We have to approve each application by hand to filter out as many forum spammers as we can, so it was sitting in the awaiting approval bin (which I'm working through right now.)
