Notes not bendin'?
Tongue ain't blockin'?
Can't hit th' highs,
And the song ain't rockin'?

Take a deep breath,
And think about it, brother...
There's gotta be a reason,
Either one or another...

Just havin' a lil' fun at your expense, brother Adam. Hope you like it! :-)

Well of course he's having problems. He's holding it backwards. It seems to be catching. One of the little critters in this commercial had the same problem.

@Brother Miles: Thanks man. Art is what I do to put beans in the pot.

Gotta tell ya, it took me longer to figure out how to post it in here than it did to draw it, lol!

Nice Bother Tuck! What mediums do you work in - just digital or others?

@Brother Squeal: I start out with a pencil sketch, scan it and import that into Photoshop and then go to town!

@Brother Owl: LOL! You should know better than to soak them harps!

That's a fantastic picture. I have been thinking about getting a harmonica themed characterture done of my self and having it framed, I just get a little worried of how it might turn out.

nice details! you even put his busking hat on the bookshelf.
lots of folks can draw, it's the attention to minor details which makes one stand out!
very well done!

I 'preciate the kind compliments, folks. I love to draw like I love to play harp, but I'm much better at the first than the latter, lol!

I've had some ideas for "harp specific" cartoons for some time now, but didn't have a place to share them until now, so as time goes on I just might post one once a month or so until I run out of ideas.

One of my few claims to fame is that I am the official cartoonist for the Atlanta Falcons Football Club, and as far as I know, the only "official" cartoonist in the NFL. It's a part time gig but a lot of fun. You can check out a collection of my work in my Flickr account. There are 2 pages and the 'toons are clickable and zoomable:

I already know that brother Miles is a Bears fan. I hope there ain't no Saints fans in here!

@brother eharp: Yes I am and that's how I met Dennis Gruenling, through an AHE seminar/class. I really enjoyed it but I live in Gainesville, quite a ways north of Atlanta and it's hard for me to get down to the "bright lights and big city", even once a month.

Thank you brother Walter. The saints/aints is an older one but still one of my personal favorites.
