well i just got with another band. its a bass drummer electric slide guitar and another lead guitar. i can kinda play keys. they want me to play keys and sing. it was a rock n roll band but now they want to make it a blues band... with that said i guess i need to learn some easy cool things to do on the keys.. any suggestions?? also should i do all 3 of these things, harmonica, keys, sing?? i can sing pretty good live on stage. and i can play harp rather well i think. but incorperate keys?? idk

Can you play in a rack? I've tried and it's like playing a different instrument. My hats off to the guys who can make it work. It might be easier to switch back and forth depending on the song or section of the song. I guess it depends on what you want to do.

Keys in blues can be tough. A lot of blues have that honky tonk plinky sort of sound. I'm not a fan of it. I think a fuller sound works better. I actually have a hard time listening to Howlin' Wolf because the piano noise drives me nuts, but the sound Ray Charles gets is beautiful.

The problem with keys is they don't fit in your pocket!
