Congratulations! It's really nice to be in Seydel Team, shoulder to shoulder with James Cotton, Charlie Musselwhite and Mark Hummel (and many others great musicians).
Thank you all! Bart, BTW, really, you're my favourite player from the whole artist list. ---------- Excuse my bad English. Click on my photo or my username for my music.
Cool! Now if it could only be like the way it was with Hohner prior to the 70's when that used to mean free harps for some players, but hopefully you can get them directly from them at a discounted price. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte
Congrats! You are truly one of the best...and my favorite part of that is you get to show that on stage live!!!
@Ant - it can work either way. I am sure if Boris didn't have people knocking down doors to sign him, he could have called anyone and gotten a deal within a couple of minutes. ---------- Mike Quicksilver Custom Harmonicas
Boris I wanted to make you a question, if you are able to talk about such things.
What means to be an endorser? I mean, do you get free harp; a discount on harps as Barbequebob said; have to wear a Seydel T-shirt, etc.? Or it's more like the "honor" and publicity (for you and your curriculum) of being recognized by the Seydel company?
Please tell us a bit more. I'm really intriged.
By the way, There is no doubt you are an awesone player. Few people in the world can play with such ease such intricated songs like the ones you do. So you deserve the best.
Thanks
---------- With some latin flavour for you, chico!! :P
Ant138 Actually I make the first move to contact them. First I become dealer to get harps for my students, but I still played harps from different manufacturers for some personal reasons. Now I decided to go to seydel completely and they agreed.
Camilo I get some free harps, some discounts and I have to play Seydel exclusively in public and mark that on any published materials.

That's exactly what you have to do when you sign a deal like that. Muddy and his band did that when he signed an endorsement deal with Guild in the 60's (and that's how Paul Oscher got his old Guild Thunderbird amp he had used for years for harp) and once it was over, he went back to his '56 Telecaster again. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte
