Here's some photos of the harp case i made for my first jam night last month,i used a case that contained an angle grinder and made some partitions from plywood.
I drilled out the harp holes and lined them with pipe blanks then to finish it off i hand painted Jake and Elwood on the lid coz i love the Blues Brothers films, i think it turned out pretty good.

Maybe you could have packed the harps in tighter to store more, but it looks sweet!

Hi Boris, Yeah i have'nt got the full set yet but at my present level of ability i have all i need and i can re configure the case to add more harps when the time comes because the bit with the harp tubes is removable.

Don't want to seem unduly judgmental, but that is an awfully big case for 8 harps, a mic, a pedal and a couple of chords. And it must take up a lot of space on stage.

Yep it is big but it looks good on the floor, front of stage with the lid up!

You paint well. I like the tubes for the harps instead of slots in foam.

.........Is that a "McCormick" Pepper Grinder?

Sorry I dident say what a good job it is.

I have a fancy (14 harp) leather case from Custom Cases in USA, I think they have gone bust now, but when I open it all the harps fall out! Over years the leather expands and I would much prefer one like yours man

Thanks guys, i was really pleased how the paint job turned out it was tricky coz the surface is'nt flat, Hey Miles it's a Bottle Of Blues mic made out of a codement bottle by a guy in the states i use it with the tiny green amp next to my Green Bullet in the first pic, it aint loud but it has a great gritty tone!
