I have been watching Adams Amping The Harp vid and was thinking of getting a Gretsch G5222 and amping through the PA when on stage.
Has anybody used or owned one of these and used it in a live band siuation as described above, or even just used one as a practice amp cos i want to know what you think of the tone and if it will need a delay or tone pedal to get it sounding right.

Geordie it's a near exact copy of a Fender 600 champion and they sound great for harp. The only difference is the wording on the control panel and the covering.
Some people mod them but I like they way they sound without any mods. I have used one for the last few years and have no complaints.

And the Fender is cheaper!!
