I'm expecting two new Sp20's tomorrow. Even though they may sound perfectly good and allow for overblows etc straight out of the box, I bet I whip the covers off and fiddle with them anyway. Sad isn't it?

I've only ever bought one make of harmonica, where I haven't had to go in and set it up out of the box. Every other harmonica I have ever used has needed (except two West Weston Marine Bands) some tweaking however minor to get it to respond perfectly to my way of playing.
What's the only harmonica that didn't have to alter I hear you ask?.....The Hohner Crossover. A great harmonica straight out of the box for me.

Yes, correct I think I may have just killed my brand new solist pro because I just can't stop myself fiddling. ---------- "Everyone has to start somewhere."

Wow! A G and a D both perfect OOTB overblows too. But they won't truly be mine till I've re-gapped. Now then, do I open the backs like I used to? I'm not sure, the more I think about it, the more I like Adams approach and spend my time playing stock harps rather than fiddle. Where's my hammer? ----------
