Currently they're moving to a larger location. However I think in the name of good customer service they should contact you right away after you try and contact them.

Yeah, I got an email last week for the final pymt. on my B'Rads. Hope to get them soon. I ordered them last April.

I asked about mine and they said that they got backed up because they decided to switch from the nickel plated coverplates to jet black. Normally I'm really forgiving of Harrison's back-ups, but that one just seemed silly. If you want to switch something so superficial like that, you think you'd wait until after you take care of the backlog. Oh well. They told me mine would be done in July (fingers crossed). I ordered last July, key of A.

Hmmmmm...it seems as if Harrison Harmonicas are very adept at making excuses and not much else.

Wasn't this discussed about a week or two back?

Switching from nickel coverplates could actually be a really big deal. I know some people have a nickel allergy. Someone had mentioned they had nickel covers. I was kind of surprised, since everyone else seems to be moving away from it.

Joe, yep. We need one of those signs, 'No Accidents in X Days' for Harrison threads. I bet we can't go a week. :)

I asked a couple of weeks ago...was told June. So that'd make a year. That's fine with me, I guess.

I didn't realize people could have a nickel allergy. Okay, I guess that's a legitimate concern. I thought it was purely cosmetic.

When I ordered my harp, I was totally prepared to wait a while, because I had already heard stories about how long the lead times were. I'm getting antsy not so much because I'm frustrated, but more because I'm really excited. I've heard nothing but positive reviews from the people who finally get them.

Hopefully one day Harrison will grow into itself and be able to deliver the lead times they originally set out upon.

It seems that most stainless steels contain nickel, but not all: one of my kitchen knives is Chrome Molybdenum Vanadium steel. I've got a feeling that all steel really needs in order to be stainless is the chromium content. I'm not sure what the other stuff is for.

This page is intriguing, especially the reference to gold! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allergen_of_the_Year

I have had customers inquire about Suzuki products to make sure they had no Chrom Moly . . .
I am fortunate enough not to be allergic to stuff . . .
So are the black covers laquered? The Firebreath and the Hammond both have laquered CP, and I like that!
I usually use TurboLids, doubt if they fit on a Harrison--but I have yet to order a HH--maybe once they finish all the preorders (sometime next year 8)) . . .
