Hey everyone!

Just a quickie. I got a digital piano today. Roland HP1300e in great condition. £200.00 ($330.00)

I've got a great Korg keyboard, but the wife don't like all the cables and stand and amp laying around. This thing looks like a piece of furniture. Great for moments of inspiration. Just turn it on and play.

I've been looking for one of these for ages to help me with harp theory and accompaniment. Look out Paul Oscher!

Happy days!

You know, I wasn't sure about that approval. It was a gmail account, but it looked suspicious. He'd applied before and I thought maybe, well, maybe he was legitimate.

Fortunately, I clicked the forum one last time before going to be and saw he already had 3 posts...

I've just got a keyboard, and actually, that's getting put away while I borrow some electric drums. :)

It's good to see that somebody else's wife holds veto power over the gear setup too! When I went shoppin' for a digital grand for my house my wife actually went along to OK the finish. Thankfully Yamaha made the piano available in about 4 different woods.
It is great to be able to play with the headsets on in the middle of the night. Too bad you can't do that with harp.

LittleBubba, the trick is to start with a harmonica that is really quiet to start with and then play it REALLY softly. With the right harp and the right technique you can play in the same room with someone and they won't know it, and it can actually help you with dynamics. It's not wailing, but sometimes it's all you got.

@nacoran: that doesn't sound like somethin' I'd be too good at, lol! My first band teacher kicked alotta appreciation for dynamics into me, but I think I started at a higher point than that.:)
