I liked it! Think about how many musicians aim to please- please the audience, please fellow band members, please the critics, please club owners, please festival organizers, please the record labels, please the drunks, please the press, please other musicians, by doing just like the ones that are getting all the pleasing stuff for what they play....... Think. Think how to set up scripted sets to please, think what will sell, think, think, think, think..............Copy, cut and paste, paint by the numbers. That is the art/music world for most. I bet very few musicians really just be......... Easier said than done or the sounds of the music from the amatuers here to the big names would be much different than what we hear...... Can most ever let go of their need to please and fit in? Will they ever have the blind faith to allow their inner self to come out with no filters? Are they willing to allow their inner self to be laughed at? Are there too many layers in place past early childhood to let this to happen for most? We want true love from others but are not willing to blindly love ourselves..... Thanks for posting that oldwailer. It inspired me to keep on my path. Walter
