I received my Bends chroms recently. The package smelled musty, and to my dismay the harps and cases do to. I let them air out for a week and they still smell. Which gets me to my question,
How do I clean a chromatic harp? Will I need to replace the windsavers?
Overall the harps go well, some reeds are not responsive enough and require more air than my 270. Can this be solved by gapping? I am a bit reluctant to gap a chrom myself (never gapped anything), are there people who offer the service in Canada (or US)?
Thanks!

Yeah I got a bit of throat irritation. I'll stop playing asap, thanks for the tip.
I found this link about wind instruments and lung disease: http://today.uchc.edu/features/2010/sep10/lungdisease.html
I will clean my harps with isopropyl. The comb won't be too happy.
