Dear harmonica friends? Do you like that harmonica tone (before it become deeply effected)? Please be honest.

YES! Dubstep vibe going on there! How did you get it?

You really have this trumpet style of playing. Love it! How do you articulate the fast runs in the beginning?

Yes, I dig it!I agree with Micha it's trumpet like. clear but reconocible. You can tell it's a harp.

(I also like what you are playing. If that's not modern harp then I don't know what it is).

By the way, I heard the Pod X3 didn't work for you. I suggest you once again to check the VOX TONELAB pedal. It has a real pre valve on it, and has octaver effects. The guitar player of my band has one, I tried it and I really liked what I heard. You should give it a try.

Bye.

Thanks guys!

The strangest thing it's my old regular setup.
1. Audix Fireball V
2. AKG wireless
3. Rocktron Hush (blue one, as some kind of antifeedback)
4. Boss HR-2 harmonist (for octaves in the end of solo)
5. MXR Carbon Copy analog delay
6. LoneWolf HarpAttack (new one, with Russian tube inside)
7. EHX Small Stone Phase Shifter (big Russian one, for warbling tone in the end of solo)
8. BBE Sonic Stomp
Plugged to PA without soundcheck, and even without soundguy as I understand.

I tried my pedalboard to PA many times with SM57 and Fireball. And I never was completely happy. Yesterday I played a gig and I have that perfect tone.
I fall into distrust, am I really like the tone or I get used to it and it starts to seem that this works for me. Or is it electronic drums make this to sounds great, I really don't know.

Sounds terrific. The basic tone is great. Also sounds good when you engage the effects.

Thx hvyj & tooka!

The more PA success the more I want some my pedals to PA-style amp instead of tube amp.

I like this too Boris - The horn-like tone, timing and 'great' phrasing. :)

Boris,

If I understand correctly, your basic tone is made with:
Audix Fireball -> MXR Carbon Copy analog delay -> LoneWolf HarpAttack -> BBE Sonic Stomp

Correct? What does the sonic stomp do?

As you may know, this is what Richard Hunter does when using his Digitech multi-effect processors ... believe he recommends using keyboard amps ...

BTW love your playing ...

Thanks guys, glad you like it!
Micha - you're right! Sonic stomp is a cool device. It makes tone crispy, fatter and clearer (when use in small amount) or make it a bit synthy, when added too much. It's great when amp or PA is muddy. It puts harmonica in front of mix.

Cool groove, and I think both your tone and the effects sounded perfect.
