I just saw Jim Liban do this effect during one of his shows. Not even a week ago. He was taking a solo and busted that sh*t out. Jim's style was actually during funk tune. I can't remember what he was saying thru the harp but it was killer....! While He was playing this technique I turned my head at the crowd to see who was into it (cuz I definitely was). I locked eyes with Reverend Raven, an accomplished performer in his own right, and he mouthed to me "That is cool" So I think you are on to something here ---------- get off the computer and play some harp

I did this thing that I have named Donald Ducking on the harp. I don't think I have heard anyone else doing some of the sounds the way they came together. I played all the instruments at once and then overdubbed the harp. Walter donald ducking the harp
