Played guitar for 25 years, fiddle for 10 neither professionally. Started playing harmonica in 2008. The bulk of my learning has come from harmonicaaccademy.com. Now I am taking my instruction from Gussow, Ricci, and Shellist on you tube. I play Hohner MS blues harps acoustically through a Jt-30 and fender pro junior. I grew up listening to Cajun, blues, cool jazz, big band era, classic rock, and old school crooners (Bing Crosby, Deano, etc.) I am trying to develop a working knowledge of the blues harp with a goal of bluesing up some old school cajun music. Sort of like Sonny Boy meets Joe Falcon.
