When I was 16 my Mom bought me a classical guitar. I played around with it for a while but I found playing with girls was more fun. Over the years I learned a few chords and some songs but never really got into it. At least not as much as I did with the harmonica later on. Don't get me wrong but I can play the guitar but harmonica is my number one instrument.
Some where in my mid 1980's I picked up a harmonica and started to jam with a friend George and that was it. I was hooked. It just seemed to come naturally. I play from the heart and feel the rhythm so if you ask me to play a song I don't think I could but crank up a tune and I will play along with it.
I've played in a couple of bands over the years; Amythyst, Force of Four, BarnRatz , FullSyrkle, Under the Covers and jammed with guy's like Brian C. and Rob Gray and that's keeps me motivated.
I am a truck driver by day and run from Washington D.C. To Wilmington,NC or Virginia Beach to Charlotte and all points in between so for now any new bands would be hard to handle but I can be bought!!
