I'm better at reading this kind of stuff than applying it, but I thought this article might be of interest here in the beginners' forum. It deals with classical piano, but would seem to have application in the harp world. I'm going to try applying it a bit more deliberately than I have in the past.

Thanks, Fil.
That makes sense to me. I think mostly it’s how I approach things instinctively but I believe I can see a benefit in a greater awareness and more deliberate approach, particularly on the ‘with expression’ aspect which is often where specific technique comes more to the fore.
