I sure wish I understood the octave pedal. I use one in attempt to take the shrill out of the higher key harmonicas. I truly don't hear much difference. If the tone would do this for me better than the octave, I would consider that trade!

Well KC, the Tone + adds a significant boost making the amp sound much stronger. You can keep that but keep the volume under control with the Tone+ volume knob. The treble and bass are great for a small amp that doesn't have tone controls or to further say the bass on an amp where you might want additional. So. it would help
