Hi all I have been asked to play Stranger On The Shore by Mr Acker Blick and I can't get the TAB right. Any suggestion on which harp to start with or any other pointer would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers Per

I am pretty sure the dots are at wikifonia http://www.wikifonia.org/node/2561 There are two accidentals, it is show as default in the key of F and the accidentals are an Eb in bar 2 and a B natural in bar 27.
personally I'd use a chrom.

There's an awesome version of this song with Norton Buffalo playing harmonica (chromatic I think), on "Joe Weed and the Vultures". Sounds to me like it starts in the key of E, then modulates to the Key of F.

Nice piece on clarinet this. Here is a tab I have just worked out on a Bb harp to play alongside the original song.
Stranger on the Shore
+3+6, +6-5,+6+5-5+5+4-2**,
+4+5-5+5-6-4, -3**-4+5-5-6-3,
+3+6,+6-5, pause +5-5+5+4-2**
+4+5-5+5-6+6, +5-4+5-5-3+4
-5+6-6+7+6, +5-4+5-5+6+5, +4-5+6-6+7-7+6, +6+5overblow+6-6-7+6
You could just play a +6 as an alternative instead of the +5OB if you are not comfortable with OB's
Enjoy.
